Getting Here

When arriving in the Fort McCoy area by air, the nearest major airport is the Sparta/Fort McCoy Airport which supports most general aviation aircraft. Taxi service is available from the airport to the post as are rental cars. If arriving at Fort McCoy by car, take Interstate 90 or 94 to State Highway 21. Follow Highway 21 until you see the main gate at Fort McCoy. Fort McCoy is located between the cities of Sparta and Tomah. If military personnel are traveling with families and are in need of temporary lodging, the Fort McCoy lodging office will coordinate guest housing. Visit the lodging office in Building 35 at the Welcome Center or call 608-388-2107 or 800-982-3585.
